All of us Brazilians suffered greatly from the various impacts suffered, whether by the disease or for the difficulties that isolation brought us. Among several groups of people who were affected by isolation, one group that generated a lot of concern was students.

Suddenly, the school year had to be interrupted due to social isolation and this generated a lot of concern for Seduc and the entire Government of Goiás, as they were forced to implement a model of non-face-to-face classes across the entire education network. of the state, and, doing this in a very short space of time, proved to be an enormous challenge for the entire State government and required great commitment, creativity and development of new methodologies on the part of the team at the State Department of Education.

Based on this need, NetEscola was created as an online platform where content produced by Seduc to assist in the didactic-pedagogical part throughout the non-face-to-face class period.

Video classes, a list of activities produced by teachers from the State Department of Education, exercises, tests and simulations are available on this platform so that students can progress in their studies and not be harmed.

The main objective of NetEscola was to be a measure to guarantee the continuity of students' study routine, preventing it from being interrupted due to the guidelines that recommended social isolation at the time.

Therefore, this platform became a great helper in the daily lives of students and teachers, as all the materials necessary for teaching and learning, as well as necessary information, were all grouped in one place. This brought ease and agility to maintaining the students’ educational routine.

A major innovation brought by Seduc was the creation of the NetEscola application. It was created to guarantee pedagogical interaction between teachers and students and the most interesting thing is that this happens free of charge, through the sponsored internet. That's right, students and teachers don't pay for internet to use the app. Incredible, right?

Furthermore, when the user connects to the application, they begin to have access to some very useful tools in the daily routine of students and teachers, such as the NetEscola Portal, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and others that enable users to being connected and sharing the routine activities of a classroom, but happening over the internet.

First of all, what we need to inform you is that the application is only available in the Android version and can only be accessed by students who are duly enrolled in schools in the Goiás State Network and also modulated teachers.

If you are properly inserted into some of the profiles mentioned, follow the steps below:

1. In the Google Play Store, on your Android phone, type the word “NetEscola” in the search field.

2. When the NetEscola icon appears, simply select the App.

3. After clicking on the application, it will be available for you to use on your smartphone.

The other way to access the NetEscola Portal is using a browser of your choice from a computer. But pay close attention, when you access the Portal on your computer, you will not be able to use the Sponsored Internet.

Sponsored Internet is only available when you access the Portal through the NetEscola App on your cell phone. If you access, even on your cell phone, using a browser, an internet connection will automatically be required.

Any Seduc server that is registered and with permitted network access can access NetEscola content. What they will need to do is use the same SIAP access data or even the Seduc network access data.
